THE RESOURCEFUL LIFE

An Unconventional Workout.

One EXTREMELY humid Florida day.

5 challenging stations as follows:

Tire Flipping
Tire and Sled Pulling
25 pound Sandbag Squats with 100 yard runs
Outdoor Stair Sprints
2 laps around the parking lot pushing 3200 pounds of car.

Lots of water, lots of dirt, lots of sweat.

Yields: A fantastic fat loss circuit , a tremendous feeling of empowerment!

Congratulations to these outstanding performers:

5:30 am-Aileen Payne-brought her “A” game all day beginning with the warm up!

8:30 am-Teen-Casey Simpkins-ripped through those squats and runs with serious authority!

8:30 am-Adult-Jennifer Badcock-tearing it up EVERY day in class and being a great leader!

6:00 pm-Ashley Thompson-quickly becoming a leader in class, inspiring others through her work ethic and verbal encouragement.

Tomorrow’s workout:

Pile it on! (Our most requested workout).

Come prepared to work hard!

Here’s a quote for you to think about:

“The principle is competing against yourself. It’s about self-improvement, about being better than you were the day before.” -Steve Young

Don’t forget to purchase the book: Left to Tell by Immaculee Ilibagiza and begin reading.

Mark your calendar for: July 11th, discussion and Hotel Rwanda viewing at 7:30!

See you early or on time!

Enjoying the journey,

Whitney Cabrera BSN, RN
